Why AI for participatory processes in government is not widespread? 馃
In a new #CSCW2025 paper, @jaguridi et al. analyze how public servants and politicians have different incentives and approaches to a thoughtful AI adoption for participatory processes.

Politicians focus on external-facing motives and risk mitigation strategies while public servants tend to prioritize internal controls and efficiency gains.
